1. Agreement
ZED Delivery ("ZED", "we", "us", or "our") is a self-serve courier service operating in Kelowna and the Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada. We provide local pickup and delivery of items booked and paid for through our website. This document forms part of our agreement with you. If you have questions, contact us at support@zerodelivery.ca or 250-681-8834.
By booking a delivery or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, SMS Terms, and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Who can use ZED
You must be at least the age of majority in British Columbia (19) and able to enter into a binding contract. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including addresses, contact details, and item descriptions.
3. Bookings, pricing & payment
- We show an instant flat price based on driving distance, item size, and any rush option. The price shown before payment is what you pay, unless the booking details turn out to be inaccurate (for example, a much larger or different item), in which case we may adjust the price or decline the job.
- Payment is required to confirm a booking. By paying, you authorize the charge for that delivery (and, if you save a card on file, for deliveries you approve).
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.
4. What we can carry
ZED moves items that safely fit in our electric vehicle. You may not book the delivery of:
- Illegal items, stolen goods, or anything you're not authorized to send;
- Hazardous, flammable, explosive, or dangerous materials;
- Weapons, drugs, or controlled substances;
- Living animals, or perishable items where spoilage is a risk;
- Cash, jewellery, or high-value irreplaceable items (see liability below);
- Anything our driver reasonably considers unsafe, oversized, or inappropriate.
You confirm you own or are authorized to send the items, and that they are packaged adequately for transport. We may refuse or cancel any booking that breaches these terms.
5. Pickup & delivery
- Please ensure someone is available to release the item at pickup and receive it at drop-off, or provide clear instructions. Items left unattended at your direction are at your own risk.
- Delivery times and windows are estimates, not guarantees. We're not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control (weather, traffic, access issues, incorrect information).
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss of or damage to an item is limited to the lesser of the item's documented value or CAD $100 per booking, unless a higher amount is agreed in writing in advance. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for items that were inadequately packaged, prohibited, or inaccurately described. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
8. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The ZED Delivery website, branding, and content are owned by ZED Delivery and its service provider, Aligned Web Services, and may not be copied or used without permission.
10. Disclaimers & indemnity
The service and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify ZED Delivery against claims arising from your breach of these terms, including sending prohibited items or providing inaccurate information.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Questions: support@zerodelivery.ca · 250-681-8834.
